Monday, the state supreme court will hear arguments in a number of cases.

Among the appeals on the calendar for argument then are those of Mrs. Edna Godbee, of Millen, who was convicted and given a life sentence for the murder of Mrs. Florence Godbee, the bride of her divorced husband, W. S. Godbee, whom she also killed, and Nick Wilburn, of Jones County, who was convicted of the murder of James A. King, a Jones County planter, and sentenced to be hanged.

Mrs. King, who was jointly indicted with Wilburn, was acquitted by the trial court.

The supreme court has been en banc all the week, but has not handed down any decisions.

It was generally believed that the decision upon the appeal of Leo M. Frak would be rendered during this banc, but the term ended at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon without such a decision having been handed down.

Unless the court varies its custom and holds a special banc it is not likely that the Frank decision will come down before the next regular banc, which begins on Monday, March 9.
